a fantastic example by Houghton-Butcher Mfg. Co. Ltd. London; 35mm. The case hand made for tropical use in dovetail jointed polished teak rather than mahogany and with extensive brass reinforcements, the claw marked Pat. 2178/9. With hand crank, focusing Aldis- Butcher Anastigmat 2 inch f/3.1 cine lens with fitted shade and two film spools. The lens is showing more use than the camera, often the case with interchangeable lenses but you may never see another of these cameras with the original finish in this wonderful condition!
